Lisandra Rickards
Throughout her career, Lisandra has help others prosper. Today as the CEO at Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship Caribbean, Lisandra helps other to access the funding and the markets they need to scale. She acts as a conduit to that prosperity for high-potential companies and projects that have traditionally found it challenging to break through barriers to scale because of a lack of appreciation, understanding, and support for their talents in their home markets, particularly in emerging markets. Specifically , she has created funding programmes in multiple categories – including equity investing, crowdfunding, lending, and grants – and has worked both on the funding side, and as an advocate for those seeking funding. As a result, She have earned the trust of the constituents of the process by developing an expertise in its mechanics. As Chairwoman of Innovate 10x, Lisandra will help to charter the course of 10x as it helps businesses with digital products to gain entry into the market. Lisandra received her MBA with Honors from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and Student Marshal.
Sheldon Powe
Sheldon, a serial entrepreneur with many successful businesses to his credit and the CEO and Director of Markets and Commercialisation at Innovate 10X. As the former Group Chief Information Officer of Jamaica Money Market Brokers (JMMB), Sheldon has over two decades in his position as Head of the Technology Unit. He was in charge of creating and maintaining a highly professional, customer-oriented and innovative IT function whilst ensuring that the introduction of new IT solutions were delivered in alignment with the company’s corporate strategy. Sheldon’s responsibilities encompass ideation, concept development & optimisation, development of launch plans and working with local markets to introduce innovation. Sheldon also provides oversight on 10XBigthinker© suite of services, the setting of the 10XBigthinker© agenda and providing customer related due diligence on potential new ventures. Sheldon holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the West Indies, Mona and a Masters degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida. His expertise is supported by various certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Scrum Master and ITIL V certified.
Claudine Tracey
Claudine is currently the Group Chief Strategy Officer at the JMMB Group. She has a well-decorated career in strategy management, business analytics, risk management project management and product development over her years of experience at the senior management level in the private and public sector. She has a strong track-record of delivering results and providing innovative solutions to companies’ challenges while contributing significantly to revenue generation and/or cost reduction through the redesign of business processes and analytics. Claudine has a passion for the MSME sector developing pioneering products such as the Voucher of Technical Assistance and the IGNITE Grant when she was a general manager at the Development Bank of Jamaica. She continues to work with the SME sector as Chairperson of Turners Innovation, a Business Mentor/Advisor for the Jamaica Business Development Corporation, as well as working in her own family businesses. Claudine holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of the West Indies, Mona in Economics and Psychology and Banking and Finance respectively; which is complemented by Certification in International Risk Management and is also an Accredited Director.
Andrew B. Cocking
A stalwart in the financial sector boasting almost three decades of experience, Andrew Cocking is currently an independent financial consultant. His financial journey includes senior management positions at the former Capital & Credit Financial Group (CCFG), Which he co-founded with other shareholders. He also worked with the defunct Issa Trust & Merchant Bank, now a part of the Sagicor Group. Following a four-year stint at Manufacturer Merchant Bank as Vice President, Investments, Marketing and Credit, Mr. Cocking’s career led him to Pan-Caribbean Merchant Bank Limited. He also held management positions at Jamaica Citizens Bank Limited and Citibank N.A. Jamaica. In recognition of his distinguished career in finance, he received a Citation of Appreciation to salute his outstanding service as President of the Association of Licensed Financial Institutions. A trained engineer, he received a Bachelor of Science degree from Howard University and later pursued a Master of Science in Management and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University. Andrew has served as a director on numerous boards including JMMBTT Remittance Limited, CAAC2000 (Carrier Air Conditioning Local Distributor) and Kidney Kids Foundation.
Stacey Hines
Stacey Hines is the Group Strategic Planner for all companies within ICD Group and serves as advisor to various boards on select strategic initiatives. Stacey has worked across North America in several industries with a focus on business operations, systems development and implementing strategic initiatives geared towards change. Stacey is responsible for managing the Strategic Planning Office and provides support to the senior management teams of the subsidiaries on the systems, structure and culture of the organisation and their alignment with the organisations strategic plan and values. She is an experienced public speaker who has served as co-founder and executive board member for the Network of Black Business & Professional Women. Stacey holds an MBA in International Business and Technology as well as a BSc in Computer Information Systems.
