CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER AND DIRECTOR, MARKETS AND COMMERCIALISATION

Sheldon a serial entrepreneur with many successful businesses to his credit is the CEO and Director of Markets and Commercialisation at Innovate 1ox.

As the former Group Chief Information Officer of Jamaica Money Market Brokers (JMMB), Sheldon has over two decades in his position as Head of the Technology Unit creating and maintaining a highly professional, customer-oriented and innovative IT function while ensuring that the introduction of new IT solutions are delivered in alignment with the company’s corporate strategy and delivers on the benefits

Sheldon’s responsibilities encompass ideation, concept development & optimization, development of launch plans and working with local markets to launch innovation. Sheldon will also be providing oversight on 10XBigthinker© suite of services, setting the 10XBigthinker© agenda and providing all customer related diligence on potential new ventures.

Sheldon holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the West Indies, Mona and a Masters degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida. His expertise is supported by various certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Scrum Master and ITIL V certified.

As a former Director of PricewaterhouseCoopers Jamaica Technology Advisory practice, Nicola possesses a diverse set of experiences, a wealth of knowledge and a number of skills in her areas of specializations making her well-equipped and ready to: tackle most business challenges regarding people, process, and technology. She has an unmatched tracked record for successfully leveraging technologies and proven international methodologies for improved cost leadership and customer experiences. To-date, Nicola has successfully supported over 100 projects geared towards modernization and performance improvements and experience working with private and government entities in more than 12 countries in the Caribbean.

Nicola’s responsibilities encompass the delivery of 10XBightinkers© suite of consulting, and research & innovation services, defining their processes and overseeing the employees designated to guide innovation, and continuous improvement efforts company-wide.

Nicola holds a Masters of Science (MSc) degree (summa cum laude) in Management Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University, Florida, and a BSc. in Computer Science and Management Studies from the University of Technology, Jamaica. Her expertise is supported by a number of certifications among which are Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile, COBIT5 and ITIL.

ANTONETTE CLARKE
DIRECTOR, INNOVATION CENTER OF EXCELLENCE

Antonette is a certified project management expert practitioner and leader with over 20 years experience in leading and inspiring teams to be their best and to deliver exceptional service to clients. Antonette is the Director, Innovation Center of Excellence at Innovate 10x.

As the former Corporate Manager, Group Projects for the JMMB Group. Antonette has over a decade of customer-oriented project delivery. She has successfully managed a cross-functional team across Jamaica, Trinidad and Dominican Republic to deliver several impactful and transformational projects to drive and accomplish the JMMB Group’s strategy.  At 10X, Antonette responsibilities include management of 10x co-working spaces, forums for start-ups to pitch their ideas, 10x digital reviews and selection of products for monetisation, and knowledge sharing and delivery of custom training on innovation.

Antonette holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Accounting from the University of the West Indies, Mona, a MBA in Finance from the Manchester Business School, University of Manchester, London. She also holds a Business Administration Diploma from UTECH (University of Technology). It was this course in 1994 that she credits for igniting the “Entrepreneurial Spirit“ which inspired her to think entrepreneurial and to approach her everyday work in an innovative way. As such in 2008, while still pursuing her corporate positions, Antonette founded her own company. Her expertise is supported by various certifications, including the Internationally recognized project management certification -Project Management Professional (PMP) and the Agile certification – Certified Scrum Master. Antonette is a member of the IAOIP (International Association of Innovation Professionals).
